Dr. Gikić has decided on a career of a dentist early in his life. After finishing school for dental technicians, he graduated from the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb. He has worked as a dentist abroad and in Zagreb, at the Dental Polyclinic for several years where he started his own dental practice in 1989.
His long-time work with patients requires permanent training, participation at professional seminars and conventions as well as additional training to keep up with the latest achievements.
He completed a specialist training in oral surgery with prof. Krmpotić in the course of which he also attended postgraduate studies in prosthetics with prof. Ivaniš at the Faculty of Dental Medicine in Zagreb to become a Master of Science in biomedicine. He has been a court appointed expert in oral surgery - stomatology for the past ten years. Dr. Gikić specialized in oral surgery.
